| IN CONCERT: Allen Organ's 21st Annual Christmas Concert |
|
For the past 21 years, the Allen Organ Sales Staff, along with some real close friends, have presented a Christmas Concert to the local community. This year was exceptional with sold-out audiences at all three performances. The proceeds from the shows are donated to local music schools and other charities. Each concert showcased the talents from neighboring high school chorale groups. This year's event included performances from the Quakertown High School Varsity Singers, Nazareth Area High School Chorale, and The LV Charter High School For The Arts Touring Choir. Local music group Mainstreet Brass Quintet was also on hand to round out the evening's entertainment with selections for Brass, and Brass & Organ. Allen Organ Vice President of Sales Barry Holben, rocked the concert hall with his arrangement of "We Three Kings" utilizing Allen's new GeniSys™ Voices technology with high-definition sounds! (August 2016) Dear Allen Organ: We just came back from recording in Linz St. Florian, Austria. The Cleveland Orchestra, conducted by Franz Welser Möst, made a recording of the Brahms Requiem with the (Allen Bravura™) L331. Even there is the famous Bruckner's pipe organ installed with 103 stops. The concert had to use an Allen as the tuning of the pipe organ did not fit with the Orchestra's musical selections. | IN-CONCERT: Space - Spectacular Sight and Sound Concert |

Rêves d'Etoiles', a performance by French Astronaut, Brigadier General and organist Jean-Loup Chrétien
and renowned French organist Jean-Philippe Le Trévou, astounded attendees during the
November concert held in Allen Organs' Octave Hall!
Using photography taken by Jean-Loup during his space missions of the 80s and 90s, and video and images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope and provided by NASA, this concert portrayed in music
the space vehicles' flight and incredible spacewalk of Jean-Loup Chrétien. In addition to the spacewalk, the concert consisted of ten segments featuring The Sun, Asteroids, Comets, The Planets,
and more, all set to music performed by both organists.
