This Privacy Policy was last updated: May 23, 2018

This privacy policy sets out how Allen Organ Company, LLC, "Allen" a State of Pennsylvania corporation, uses and protects any information that you give Allen when you use this website. Allen ("us", "we", or "our") operates www.allenorgan.com (referred to as the "Site"). This document informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the Site.

Allen is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should you choose to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy, and if you reside in the EU, in accordance with GDPR principles and regulations.

1.0 Information Collection and Use of Personal Information - What Allen collects and why we collect it

This website collects and uses personal information for the following reasons:

1.1 Allen Site Visitation Tracking

This Site uses Google Analytics to track user interaction. Allen uses this data to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our web pages.

Google Analytics records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system. None of this information personally identifies you to us. We consider Google to be a third party data processor (see section 4.0 below).

The Google Analytics software does set a cookie to obtain traffic analysis data. You may install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to opt-out of reporting data to Google or disable cookies in your browser to stop Google Analytics from tracking your visit.

We use Google Analytics' analytics.js with IP address anonymization. This feature changes your IP address so the full address is never written to disk.

1.2 Allen Contact Forms and E-mail Links

Should you choose to contact us using the contact form on the Site:

Personal Information you provide will only be used by Allen or its representatives. This information will not be given, sold or distributed to any other parties unless required by law. None of the data that you supply will be processed by any of the third party data processors defined in section 4.0. Allen maintains practices and procedures to ensure the security and confidentiality of all information submitted in the forms on the Site. The information you submit is not stored in a database.

When personal information is transmitted online, www.allenorgan.com uses industry standard security measures called TLS (Transport Layer Security). The data for the forms above will be sent in an email to us over the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). Our own SMTP servers are protected by TLS meaning that the email content is encrypted using SHA-2, 256-bit cryptography before being sent across the internet. The email content is then decrypted by our local computers and devices.

The data submitted on these forms will be used by Allen to process your request for information as indicated on the form. The data will not be used for other purposes without your permission.

If you are under 16 years of age you MUST obtain parental consent before sending information using the Site's on-line forms.

If you choose to contact us using the email links on the Site, we suggest that you always consider email as an insecure medium and not include personal, confidential or otherwise sensitive information within an email. Not all email servers are secured by TLS.

1.3 Allen Newsletter "e-Notes"

If you choose to join our email newsletter e-Notes, the email address that you submit to us will be forwarded to MailChimp who provides Allen with email marketing services. We consider MailChimp to be a third party data processor (see section 4.0 below). The email address that you submit will not be stored within Allen's website's own database or in any of our internal computer systems.

Your email address will remain within MailChimp's database for as long as we continue to use MailChimp's services for email marketing or until you specifically request removal from the list. You can accomplish this by using the unsubscribe links contained in any email newsletters that we send you. When requesting removal via email, please send your email to us using the email account that is subscribed to the mailing list.

If you are under 16 years of age you MUST obtain parental consent before joining our email newsletter.

While your email address remains within the MailChimp database, you will receive periodic (approximately one per month) newsletter-style emails from Allen.

1.4 Warranty Registrations

Should you choose to submit an on-line Warranty Registration for your product using the form on our Site:

Personal Information you provide will only be used by Allen or its representatives. This information will not be given, sold or distributed to any other parties unless required by law. None of the data that you supply will be processed by any of the third party data processors defined in section 4.0. Allen maintains practices and procedures to ensure the security and confidentiality of all information submitted in the forms on the Site.

The information you submit is stored securely in a database to provide service and maintain warranty, registration, or service records for your product.

Allen maintains practices and procedures to ensure the security and confidentiality of all information collected during the order process in our on-line store at www.allenorgan.com. When personal information is transmitted online, www.allenorgan.com uses industry standard security measures called TLS (Transport Layer Security).

If you choose to submit an order, personal information that you submit will be used to fulfill your order. Orders are fulfilled by Allen Organ Company. The information is not shared with third parties, unless required by law.

When the Site's store creates a shopping cart for you, it will set a cookie to associate the customer with a particular shopping cart. If you disable cookies, the shopping cart will link to your IP address. There are several situations where information is stored in a cookie during the checkout process. It does not contain any credit card information.

During the checkout process, you will be taken to a third party site to process your payment.
