ALLEN ORGAN INSTALLATIONS

This exceptional organ installation in Bethlehem is at Wesley United Methodist Church. It was designed by Dr. Allen Birney, Organist, and voiced by Burton K. Tidwell. It is a custom three-manual Allen console controlling 27 pipe stops and 28 digital stops. According to Dr. Birney, "This instrument shows the potential of the hybrid organ both to Allen Organ's credit and my delight. Each of the digital stops was voiced note-by-note to integrate with the fine encased pipe work and slider chests of the original two-manual Ohl Organ. Throughout the process I had the enthusiastic support of many individuals at Allen to design and produce exactly the instrument I envisioned."
