First United Presbyterian Church moved into a new church after their prior building was destroyed by fire. A committee was formed to investigate a replacement for their 1921 Austin Pipe Organ, which was also destroyed by the fire. The Committee decided that a new digital organ should be placed in the sanctuary. The committee learned that Allen was the pioneer in digital music, as well as the world's largest manufacturer of digital organs.
Tears streamed down their faces as they heard the Lord's Prayer and Amazing Grace played in the studio. The decision was made to purchase a three-manual Allen organ. The new organ was dedicated at a special service, with renowned organist Carlo Curley performing a celebratory concert.
