Humber Valley United Church, a prominent community-centered church in Etobicoke, Ontario (West Toronto) replaced their
aging three-manual pipe organ with a large three-manual 56 stop Allen organ.
The church's accomplished Organist/Music Director, Mrs. Debbie Bradley, was at first hesitant
to forego the pipe organ, but became convinced that the superb tonal resources of the Allen, together with its
versatility, would best serve their music program.
After the new organ was installed many members of the congregation commented on the very noticeable tonal improvement over
their previous instrument. A number of distinguished visiting organists have expressed great satisfaction with the effectiveness of
the Allen organ. Mrs. Bradley, who teaches MIDI technology in her classes at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto, makes
excellent use of the many sounds available through an Allen MDS-Expander™ II.
