New Hope Presbyterian Church in Fort Myers, Florida recently installed a large Pipe and Digital Combination Allen Organ to enhance the music capabilities of their music ministry.
The 101-Stop, Five-Manual organ was manufactured by the Allen Organ Company in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Finished in a lovely custom two-tone coloration of white exterior and charcoal interior, the organ matches the sanctuary perfectly. Notable features of this organ are: Allen Keyboards utilizing Allen's OST™ (Optical Sensor Technology) keying, 22 extra drawknobs with custom engravings, 7 Divisional Jamb Cancels, String Division, an adjustable bench with backrest, and a separate amp rack just to name a few. The organ is also equipped with Allen's 7th generation digital technology: GeniSys™ - incorporating GeniSys Display - an advanced touchscreen control of many of the organ's functions, GeniSys Voices - over 250 variable stops with hundreds of contemporary instrument sounds in HD quality, and GeniSys Remote - a mobile device app allowing playback control of the instrument. A matching platform dolly allows the organ to be moved around church with ease.
The organ includes a pipe interface system which enables the console to operate the existing organ pipes alone, or in combination with the digital stops of the instrument. The instrument purchase and installation were meticulously handled through Allen Organ Representative, Dunne Music Company of Pompano Beach, Florida.
