NEW! Expanded T321Q-SP Theatre organ
Allen Organ Company is pleased to introduce substantial upgrades to the theatre organ model T321-Q. The new model designation is the T321Q-SP which now includes the following additions:
• Multiple Theatre Organ Suites:
   Wurlitzer, Morton, Barton and Classical
• "Train Whistle" added to Effects Traps
• The B-20 Bass speaker cabinet is replaced with a SR-5 cabinet

In addition, this model offers an audio expansion option that gives the organ a total audio count of 13 channels with 12 HR-100 and 2 SR-5 speaker cabinets, as well as an external amp rack. The expanded channelization greatly enhances the instrument's sound performance.

Contact your Allen dealer for additional information and pricing, or call 610-966-2202.

NEW SPECIAL PROJECT! Curved French Terrace Console

Allen has embarked on another special project; a French Terrace organ that requires four "curved" terraces instead of the traditional straight terrace design. This unique modification requires additional considerations for drawknob placement, spacing, installation and future service, not to mention overall console length.

We hope you enjoy this project as much as we are!

Allen Installations - First Reformed Church of Scotia, Scotia, New York

When the First Reformed Church of Scotia selected a builder to create their hybrid instrument, they turned to Allen. The following is excerpted from a letter written by Organist Justan J. Foster:

"First, I must say that when the process of selecting an organ to replace our failing instrument began, this was a letter that I did not anticipate writing for an ending that I could not have predicted.

I visited the Church of the Annunciation in Ilion, NY, last July (2012) to listen to a recently installed (Allen) Q370. Based on my own short-sightedness, I fully expected to politely walk away after the demonstration and go on my merry way never to consider Allen again. For this, I must profoundly apologize. What began on that day was a year's journey in designing and installing a most splendid masterpiece that is fully appreciated by our congregation and music department.

Allen was selected as the builder for our custom hybrid instrument from a field of many distinguished builders due to their commitment to quality and customer service-principles all too absent in today's world. The design process we experienced allowed for enthusiastic creativity and promoted a deeper sense of collaboration than might be expected with this undertaking. Creating the custom stop list and console proved to be a most enjoyable experience and particularly rewarding for me, as an artist, to paint with such broad strokes of tonal color. The hard work exhibited by our Allen Dealer, from proposal to voicing, has yet to cease, and reflects the integrity and ethics of Allen Organ Company that was demonstrated during several trips to the factory."

The Four-Manual pipe/digital combination console includes a custom two-tone finish, a "Page Turn" kit, and Allen's "Praise Package" with EAC™ (Expanded Audio Capabilities), an Allen Vista Navigator II™, and OST™ Keying. Other features include Divisional Jamb Cancel Bars, custom engravings, brass toe studs, and Allen pipe interface system; just to name a few.

Justan continued, "This project was one of many joys and sorrows, as our benefactor was a long-standing (no pun intended) member of the choir; and, this was a project that several congregation members were unable to see through to fruition, though we know that they would rejoice in the way our worship has been supplemented. Part of the reason that we settled on a hybrid was the symbolic way in which it reflected our congregation: pipes-both reincorporated and newly designed-to reaffirm our traditions, and digital ranks for additional resources to enhance our worship for the many years yet to come. Again, I (we) say kudos to you on a magnificent instrument that will serve the next generation(s) in our journey of faith."

Unique Concert - Guido Coal Mines, Poland

On September 27th 2013, a remarkable organ concert took place 320 meters below ground (1049.8 ft.) within the historical closed coal mine of Guido in the city of Zabrze, Poland. This first-of-its-kind concert in Poland was part of the 18th International Organ Festival and showcased the Allen BRAVURA™ L-322e organ in a specially prepared concert hall.

Master Organist Bogdan Narloch played for a full house which included officials from the city of Zabrze, including the Mayor. Mr. Narloch even dressed up as one of the legendary Guido Coal Mine ghosts, "Skarbnik" (translated as: the Treasurer). In Polish mythology, Starbnik ghosts live in mines and underground workings and are the guardians of gems, crystals, and precious metals. It is said, that they will protect miners from danger, lead them to veins of ore, and lead them back when they are lost.

After the concert, the audience had a chance to meet Bogdan Narloch and view the numerous features of the Allen L-322e.

2013 Staff Holiday Show A Big Success!

Every year during early December, the staff, employees, and friends of the Allen Organ Company produce a Holiday Show to benefit three local charities: The Lehigh Valley Conference of Churches; The Community Music School; and The Allentown Symphony. This year's show was exceptional and each performance played to soldout audiences!

The concert, which had four performances and spanned the course of three days, included special guest appearances of local community and high school choral groups. This year, the show featured performances from The Lehigh Valley High School for the Art Touring Choir; Kutztown High School Show Choir; and the Quakertown High School Varsity Singers.

Also this year, famed Theatre Organist Jonas Nardwall was on hand and played several heartwarming Christmas carols on the updated Allen T321Q-SP theatre organ, and conducted two sing-a-long segments with the audience.
