Allen Installation of the Month

The Royal Military Academy in the United Kingdom installs new Allen Organ

Allen Organ Company is pleased to announce that the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, England, is the new home of a large Allen organ. Installed in the Royal Memorial Chapel, this four-manual instrument was specially designed to meet the demanding musical needs of the Chapel. The diverse specification includes a unique Antiphonal String division. The organ is the culmination of a lengthy design and manufacturing process. The design team included Allen's Tonal Director, Randy Miller, Paul Arkwright of Allen Organs United Kingdom, and the Memorial Chapel's Director of Music Peter Beaven. Initial responses to the instrument have been fantastic. The organ will be featured in A Gala Concert performed by Carlo Curley on June 19, 2011. While the organ was manufactured at Allen's factory in the United States, organ music transcends national borders. Allen Organ Company is honored to have been chosen to build the instrument for this world-renowned Chapel.
