Diane Bish Organ Favorites

Recorded at Octave Hall, Allen Organ Company, August 1999

Concert and recording artist, composer, conductor, and international television personality, Diane Bish has displayed her dazzling virtuosity and unique showmanship worldwide. Her performances are hailed by critics as stunning, fiery, and astonishing.

Miss Bish is best known for her international television series The Joy of Music, in which she combines exhilarating organ and ensemble performances with an informative, inspirational narrative and exciting world travel. Over 350 programs have been produced in famous cathedrals and concert halls, and over 200 million people are also able to see the program on a weekly basis.

Miss Bish was awarded the National Citation by the National Federation of Music Clubs of America. Considered to be the Federation's highest honor, she shares the rare distinction - with such legends as Leonard Bernstein, Eugene Ormandy, Van Cliburn, Robert Shaw, Irving Berlin, and Fred Waring - of receiving this award for "distinguished service to the musical, artistic, and cultural life of the nation."

Maintaining a busy concert career, Diane Bish is also a consummate church musician. She has served as senior organist and artist-in-residence at Coral Ridge Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for over 20 years.

Allen Organs is proud to offer three Diane Bish Signature Series Quantum™ models: three-manual 50-stop, 58-stop, and 80-stop editions and a two-manual 36-stop edition. All models feature Virtual Acoustics™, SoundMatrix™, Active Pipe Response™ capabilities, and most importantly, Diane Bish voicing. Diane Bish organs include gold-tone highlights on the stops, felted toe studs, beautiful engraved Signature Series plaques, and a deep, lustrous cherry finish. They are true works of art, worthy of the name Diane Bish Signature Series.
