Music in many of today's houses of worship is experiencing expansion in style and
presentation, both from traditional and nontraditional directions. This has increased
the complexity of and the demand for sound system installations.
For traditional music requirements, pipeless organs have their own audio systems
to optimize sound. A separate PA system is also required for the spoken word and
often to amplify a choir. These sound reinforcement requirements are very different,
requiring unique solutions: the organ requires dispersed sound, while the spoken word
requires a directional sound source.
The addition of contemporary music with digital pianos, keyboards and CD players
places even more demand on a church's audio installation. While these products require
dispersed sound similar to organs, typically a separate, third audio system using
free-standing amplifiers and speakers, has been added to meet the need. This increases both
the expense and the space required for sound systems.

Amplifiers
Allen amplifiers combine high power with low distortion and the latest protection
circuitry to offer clean and undistorted power. Each organ includes multiple amplifiers
for increased power capabilities.

Audio Mixing
Digital organs include multiple channels that require advanced
internal mixing capabilities. Allen's unique mixing system allows the MIDI keyboard or CD
player's sound to be dispersed throughout multiple amplifiers and speakers. In addition,
MIDI keyboards can take advantage of Allen's patented Acoustic Portrait™ or Virtual
Acoustic™ room enhancement capabilities.

Speaker Cabinets
Allen's Herald™ speaker cabinets (standard on
Quantum™ organs, optional on Protégé™) offer full-range sound with flat response, as well
as superior transient response, to offer life-like sound. With multiple cabinets, sound
is dispersed in a way that only the most expensive PA systems can hope to duplicate.
Allen's Seismic Radiator™ sub-woofers utilize a custom-designed 15" high-mass,
super-low-frequency, double-magnet active driver to assure powerful bass response.

Allen organs with EAC
include a convenient Input Box with three stereo pair inputs: one
for a digital piano or MIDI keyboard, one for a CD player, and one for a balanced line
input. The Input Box includes ground lift switches for each input to help optimize the
installation.
Churches often offer separate traditional and contemporary services, or even
blended programs. This has created additional challenges for churches including increased
expenditures and space for audio systems. EAC addresses these needs:
Lower Costs - Separate audio systems for digital pianos,
MIDI keyboards, or CD players can cost thousands of dollars. With EAC, the Allen organ audio
