"While the name of our church may not be familiar, you will probably remember the DB-70 you built for Diane Bish's concert tour aboard Radisson's Seven Seas Navigator cruise ship. Second Presbyterian Church is the happy recipient of that instrument. "When our Sanctuary was built in 1961, funds were not available for the pipe organ everyone dreamed of, so an Allen TC-6 was purchased as the interim instrument. That "interim" instrument lasted 40 years, and during our church's 50th Anniversary year (2001) we rewarded ourselves with the new organ we had dreamed about for so long. "It's a magnificent instrument in every way: it has beautiful workmanship, has been virtually service-free, and of course, sounds for all the world like 70-ranks of pipes.
